What must it be like for a woman to live with power over men rivaled only by God for the first third of her life, build her identity over her looks, only to feel it slip away as time tumbles by? Feel the shift in how people treat her, as though getting old is a contagious affliction? Tyler Knight
About This Quote

It is no easy thing to be a woman. Women are in charge of the power over men. The only power they ever get is held by men. No man can beat them in an argument, no man can compete with their intellect, but most men compete to win the love of these women.

They want to be the ones that get to hold their power over these women, but most times they are not allowed that power because they are not allowed the chance to hold it over them. For over three-quarters of her life, a woman is in charge of things that allow her to make decisions about money, power, and love. By the time she is ready for this responsibility, she has lost most of her friends and family because she is too busy taking care of all this stuff herself.

She has also lost any opportunity for having fun with her friends because she has become too serious about what she is doing.
